Vetnosis Releases STORM Forecasts: 2009-18 Dataset
Edinburgh, UK - 6th July 2009 - Vetnosis releases STORM Forecasts: 2009-18 Dataset
STORM FORECASTS deliver data-rich, 10-year comparable, consistent and robust projections extracted from our sophisticated global partial-equilibrium model developed and maintained by Vetnosis analysts.
This release takes account of the latest forecasts for the macro-economic environment in each of the countries/regions covered and also developments in animal protein consumption, production and trade.
"The globalization of animal protein production and increased importance of trade now demands more sophisticated market simulation and demand forecasting tools that account for global changes in animal protein consumption, production and trade" stated Dr. Jonathan Lloyd, project lead for the STORM tool. "The current global macro-economic volatility has demonstrated the value of a proprietary model, which we have used to simulate the impact on animal protein consumption and production, which ultimately drives changes in food animal populations and the health care environment."
Tim Evans, Managing Director added "STORM FORECASTS deliver an "off-the-shelf', robust and effective tool for animal health companies wanting comparable, quantitative forecasts for animal agriculture and animal health markets across 40 countries and regions".
