Vetnosis Releases STORM FORECASTS: 2010-19 Dataset

Edinburgh, UK - 6th July 2010 - Vetnosis releases STORM FORECASTS: 2010-19 Dataset

STORM FORECASTS deliver data-rich, 10-year comparable, consistent and robust projections extracted from our sophisticated global partial-equilibrium model developed and maintained by Vetnosis analysts.

This release takes account of the latest forecasts for the macro-economic environment in each of the 47 countries/regions covered and also developments in animal protein consumption, production and trade and now includes Companion Animal forecasts.

"The globalization of animal protein production and increased importance of trade now demands more sophisticated market simulation and demand forecasting tools that account for global changes in animal protein consumption, production and trade" stated Dr. Jonathan Lloyd, project lead for STORM FORECASTS.  "The recent global macro-economic volatility has demonstrated the value of this proprietary model, which we have used to simulate the impact on animal protein consumption and production, which ultimately drives changes in food animal populations and the health care environment."

Tim Evans, Managing Director added "STORM FORECASTS deliver an "off-the-shelf', robust and effective tool for animal health companies wanting comparable, quantitative forecasts for animal agriculture and animal health markets.  We continue to develop vacheron constantin replica this product, which now includes Companion Animal forecasts and also projections in Nominal, Real and FX Neutral Terms.  This enables clients to select forecasts with or without FX effects and/or price inflation making them directly comparable with internal planning assumptions".
