Edinburgh, UK - 1st July 2011 - Vetnosis releases STORM FORECASTS: 2011-20 Dataset
STORM FORECASTS delivers data-rich, 10-year comparable, consistent
and robust projections extracted from our sophisticated global
partial-equilibrium model developed and maintained by Vetnosis analysts.
This release takes account of the latest forecasts for the macro-economic
environment in each of the 57 countries/sub-regions covered and also
developments in animal protein consumption, production and trade.
"The globalization of animal protein production and
increasing importance of emerging markets demands sophisticated market
simulation and demand forecasting tools that account for global changes in
animal protein consumption, production and trade" stated Dr. Jonathan
Lloyd, project lead for STORM FORECASTS. "Our proprietary model has
successfully projected the growth of emerging markets and in our 2011 release
we have extended the scope to include 10 more emerging markets."
Tim Evans, Managing Director added "STORM FORECASTS
delivers an "off-the-shelf', robust and effective tool for animal health
companies wanting comparable, quantitative forecasts for animal health and
animal agriculture. We continue to develop our forecasting capabilities
and our 2011 release includes animal agriculture and macro-economic forecasts
for Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi
Arabia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Emerging markets will continue to be a
growth engine for animal health companies and STORM FORECASTS is a valuable
