Mar 12 - Vetnosis Publishes Emerging Asia Outlook

Edinburgh, UK - 16th March 2012 - Vetnosis publishes Emerging Asia Outlook

Vetnosis publishes Emerging Asia Outlook, a new multi-client study analysing the animal health market potential of seven key emerging Asian countries, namely:  China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

In recent years, multinational animal health companies have been extolling the virtues of their emerging markets strategies, which have yielded strong growth following sales and marketing investments in these hitherto peripheral markets.

Emerging Asia Outlook contains seven country outlook reports delivering:

·         Section 1: General Synopsis

·         Section 2:  Animal Protein Production, Consumption and Trade Outlook

·         Section 3: Animal Health Market Outlook

Vetnosis has utilised its proprietary animal agriculture simulation tool alongside extensive secondary research to generate unique insights and intelligence on emerging Asian countries and also created a model to simulate animal health market potential.

"Animal protein production and trade will increase significantly in the next decade to meet a rapidly growing demand for animal protein in emerging Asian countries.  However, each country presents its own set of challenges and opportunities, which need to be carefully evaluated." said Dr. Jonathan Lloyd, Senior Analyst and lead agricultural economist.

"Emerging Asia Outlook delivers unique insight into these important markets and represents vital business intelligence for companies that want to exploit the opportunities in these important animal health markets.  Understanding where and why the animal health market will grow is critical to companies' emerging markets strategies." added Tim Evans, Managing Director and study lead.
